DIY Binoculars

How to make cute, minimalistic binoculars

Supplies:

STEP 1: Cut a small rectangle from cardboard. I used an amazon box for this.

STEP 2: Cut a slip of cardstock. This will be used to wrap around the binoculars. Use the small cardboard rectangle to measure the width.

STEP 3: Hot glue the cardboard rectangle in-between two cardboard tubes.

STEP 3: Wrap the cardstock around the binoculars. Use hot glue to keep it in place.

STEP 4: This step is purely cosmetic. Push the paper fasteners through the middle of the binoculars.

STEP 4: Make a hole on each side of the binoculars.

STEP 5: Cut a piece of string. Tie the ends of the string to the sides of the binoculars.

There you have it! The cutest binoculars ever! They’re super durable and can be used for a variety of fun at home activities!

We made these binoculars for Ronny’s first birthday party. The kids went on a “bear hunt” in the backyard! We made made bear faces from cardstock and hid them around the backyard. Just one of the many activities you can do with these!
