DIY FLORAL BACKDROP

This was the backdrop I made for my shower back in December! I wanted to create something with flowers but the shower was for our boy Ronny! So I chose flowers that were pretty neutral. I’m literally obsessed with everything cottagecore so I wanted to work that into it as well. I just love the simple elegance of all the cottagecore vibes.

So here is how to make a floral cloud!

Supplies:

• Chicken Wire
• Fishing Line
• Floral Clippers
• Wire Cutters
• Flowers (I suggest getting them from your local Trader Joe’s)

Step 1: roll up chicken wire and hang it with fishing line. You don’t need much chicken wire. Make a smaller roll than you would think because once you start filling it in with flowers it becomes a lot bigger. The best way to describe it is to make a tootsie roll shape haha.

Step 2: stuff baby’s breath into the chicken wire.

Step 3: add pops of roses.

There aren’t very many steps! It truly is a simple installation! Also baby’s breath and roses are some of the most affordable flowers.
