GAMES FOR KIDS

One of my favorite ways to connect with Lucy is through playing games! These are the games that we personally have and LOVE. We play at least one of these every day.

The very first game we bought for Lucy was the Monkey Around game. She was 2 years old at the time and she was able to play and understand well. It’s absolutely perfect for toddlers! It’s a movement game which is why it’s so great for wiggly toddlers.

Lucy is now 3.5 and her current favorite is a classic – Old Maid. I remember growing up playing this game all the time. She thinks it’s the funniest thing in the world when she gets the “old granny”! And she will not-so-very sneakily position the card higher than all the rest so that one of us will pick it. This game gets all of us laughing. It’s so simple but it’s our current family favorite.
