Top 5 GF Snacks
I went gluten free over a year ago and I finally feel like I’ve gotten the hang of it. It’s really hard to stop eating all the foods you’ve eaten your whole life. The thing that has helped me the most is having easy snacks on hand!
Here are my top 5 easy & healthy gluten free snacks!
1. Lettuce wrap
avocados, butter lettuce, jarlsberg cheese (from Costco), and Olive Garden dressing
2. Guacamole + Chips
avocado, Pace salsa, garlic powder, chips
3. Strawberries in a Jar
if you cut up strawberries and keep them in jar in the fridge, they last longer! And they’re easier to eat because they’re ready to go. You can also prep celery sticks, bell peppers or other fruits and veggies and store them in jars as well! Here’s a link to some jars!
4. Caprese Salad
tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and pesto (from Costco).
5. Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
These are from Costco and they are delicious!
These are my 5 go to GF snacks! Finding healthy, easy and delicious snacks have been a game changer for me! I need to give credit to my grandma who helped me with a couple of these ideas!
I hope that these help if you’re gluten free or trying to start. I can’t believe how much better I feel when I’m off gluten. I can’t even function during the day if I eat it. As hard as it’s been making this adjustment, it’s so worth it.
