We had a little baby shower in my grandparent’s backyard for our baby boy! This was from December but I wanted to make sure to document it. It was so much fun for me to be apart of the decorating this time. I had been working as a florist for 4 years so it was a dream come true to be able to create a backdrop for my shower and do whatever I wanted!

We chose a “cutie” theme for the shower! So the colors we used were orange, white/cream, and greens! And I went for more of a cottagecore vibe.

I loved my dress so much! It was just so comfortable! I actually found it the night before at Down East! It was a last minute miracle haha. I ended up loving it so much that I wore it for our first family pictures with Ronny as a newborn.

For the tables at the shower, we made a loose Garland. We took branches from my grandparent’s Tangelo tree to loosely place along the center of the table. Then we placed little cutie oranges along the Garland! That was one of my favorite details.

Inside we had a waffle bar! Everyone got to choose from a variety of toppings to add to their waffles. And my family made homemade buttermilk syrup. Nothing better!! We also had orange juice to add to the cutie theme!

And then my little project backdrop! I opened gifts and took pictures with everyone behind it. I created a floral cloud made from baby’s breath and roses! I used Toffee roses and Majolika spray roses. Two of my favorites. I was going for a cottagecore vibe. I chose this style of floral installation because it’s easy and cheaper than most other installations. Baby’s breath and roses are affordable flowers as well.

It was honestly such a great time! It was so fun for me to help plan it and help decorate! I also felt so much support from friends and family. It was just what I needed to feel right before having our baby boy.

I wanted to share my favorite products that I received and that I asked for. This was my second baby so I already had most of the larger items which was definitely super nice!

Here is my Amazon storefront with some of my favorite baby must haves!
